Our Patriot Day is until 5 PM today. Please join our students and staff members as we honor our heroes and the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We are aware of several recycled social media posts across our district that are being investigated as threats to safety. We have our SROs, Laurens City Police and Laurens County Sheriff's Office investigating.
We also wanted to clarify the additional police presence at Sanders Middle School this morning. There was an increased level of police protection at Sanders Middle School due to the need to address an incident that had happened the prior night. The issue was between two students, and the school was never threatened. Thank you to the parent who brought it to our attention to address first thing this morning.

We look forward to seeing our community members at the first Tunnel Walk & Tower Climb at Laurens District 55 High School. Drop in any time between 8:00 AM -5:00 PM to help remember the victims and the heroes of September 11, 2001. Plain Text: https://bit.ly/TunnelWalkTowerClimb
